Update #15 for Wyatt Paul Sherwood
8.24.21
Wyatt has been doing so well. They said today that he had a few bradycardia episodes but nothing he didn't work through on his own. He didn't need intervention and so they are reassessing and trying to see if this is reflux issues or if it is breathing. They have done so many things to help his reflux it makes me believe 100% it is reflux related. When he started having these issues he had 2 tubes down his throat (one of them was a bit larger). Then he had the CPAP, which was adding quite a bit of air in his tummy. So now with the new nasal cannula, smaller and only one feeding tube he is doing so much better. He has spit up a couple of times but that is normal for babies. 24ml feeds is what he is up to (full feeds). He is also weighing 2lbs 13.9oz (closer and closer to 3lbs and then 4lbs!).
I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.
πππ» Thank you so much Wyatt's Warriors, please keep the prayers coming! ππ»π
