Update #1 for Wyatt Paul Sherwood
8.10.21
He has been expressing pee and possibly a little poop, which is pretty amazing for him. He also is showing his sass to the nurses because will breath a little faster than they would like on his vent. They are going to start his tummy with a bit of breastmilk (I also really can't thank the women enough who donate their milk as my little boy will have to use donor milk a bit).
He has dark eyes, we think they are brown but they are so tiny to see. He also has red curly hair. He is pretty bruised (one of the reasons we really haven't shared pictures) because he didn't want to come out of mama yesterday. He knew it was too early 🤭.
I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.
I will also share this.. Cameron Nicholas Sherwood, although born with his wings, truly took on the roll of big brother and guardian angel immediately. He knew it was time for his brother to come out as Wyatt too had a knot in his cord. Now, he is helping his brother fight even harder to, in due time, come home to his little family!
😇🙏🏻 Please keep the prayers coming 🙏🏻😇
