Update #27 for Wyatt Paul Sherwood

9.5.21

Today is bitter sweet for Zachery and me. We woke up this morning with a very heavy heart as it has been one year since Wyatt J Pues has passed. So we went and squeezed our little Wyatt as we know he is being watched over by several of our family members like his big brother Cameron Nicholas Sherwood and his name sake Wyatt.

...

No big changes to Wyatt today yet again. They are mainly letting him get used to all of the changes that have been made over the last few days and letting him grow! They gave him a bath yesterday and he still loves his tubby time until it comes to pulling off the stickers than he is very much done with that.

He also is 33 weeks today <Gestation> but 27 days old. I will have to take a special picture with him in a few days when he is a month old!

These are the qualifications for Wyatt to get home too: eating a full bottle or "feed" without problems, be able to regulate his body temperature in a crib (he is still in an isolate), be on room air, no cords and pass the carseat test.

Carseat Test: must sit in thd carseat for 90 to 120 minutes or the length of the car ride home (45 min), whichever is longer. During the test, the nurse will monitor your baby’s heart rate, breathing and oxygen level. As long as there is no change and he can hold his head up okay, without problem than he passes!

I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.

😇🙏🏻 Thank you so much Wyatt's Warriors, please keep the prayers coming! 🙏🏻😇
