Mr. Wyatt has been blowing things out of the water.  The only thing he did with his shot today was wince a bit.  Other than that he was amazing!  We did get word that he does have pink eye from his ducts being clogged so they do have him on a topical medication on his lids for 5 days.  He also has a benign heart murmur that they are pretty positive he will grow out of with age.  He has been doing well on his CPAP and occasionally has to have the percentage raised a bit as he is not feeling the best.  They still have him on 35ml feeds and due to me not producing a lot of milk for him they tried him on formula and he did really well on it.  He is also gaining about an ounce a day and is up to 3lbs 13oz and still growing.  As long as he keeps doing well he will be moved to a high flow nose cannula and will able to possibly move to a (simulated) crib.  This means they would lift the top of his islet up and have him practice keeping his temperature up.

These are the qualifications for Wyatt to get home too: eating a full bottle or "feed" without problems, be able to regulate his body temperature in a crib (he is still in an isolate), be on room air, no cords and pass the carseat test.

Carseat Test: must sit in thd carseat for 90 to 120 minutes or the length of the car ride home (45 min), whichever is longer.  During the test, the nurse will monitor your baby’s heart rate, breathing and oxygen level.  As long as there is no change and he can hold his head up okay, without problem than he passes!

I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.

😇🙏🏻 Thank you so much Wyatt's Warriors, please keep the prayers coming! 🙏🏻😇
