Update #33 for Wyatt Paul Sherwood

9.11.21

Wyatt is up to 37ml of breastmilk over 1.5hrs. He had his eye test yesterday and they said that there is no eye disease and he is seeing and interacting very well. He does not have a problem with the nerve behind his eyes as it is developed perfectly well for his age. He is up to 4lbs 6oz. and still 16in long. He was also given a bottle today and took 3ml of breastmilk perfectly fine off the bottle!

I am so proud of my little man!!!

These are the qualifications for Wyatt to get home too: eating a full bottle or "feed" without problems, be able to regulate his body temperature in a crib (he is still in an isolate), be on room air, no cords and pass the carseat test.

Carseat Test: must sit in thd carseat for 90 to 120 minutes or the length of the car ride home (45 min), whichever is longer. During the test, the nurse will monitor your baby’s heart rate, breathing and oxygen level. As long as there is no change and he can hold his head up okay, without problem than he passes!

I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.

πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ» Thank you so much Wyatt's Warriors, please keep the prayers coming! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜‡
