Update #37 for Wyatt Paul Sherwood
9.15.21
Wyatt had a big day. I went to see him because the doctors want to see him feed and latch! This little one got a good amount from mama today, more than he is used to went into his belly (so he spit up a bit), BUT he latched amazingly! Before we did his 1:30 cares (including his feed) the stink butt (he likes to poop, he has a lot of protien/calories that he is getting so that is making him release a lot) got a bath from mama and of course loved it! We weighed him and he is now up to 4lbs and 8.4oz! These are big steps! Wyatt's NP today was most impressed by his search and latch that he was doing for 34.3 weeks!

These are the qualifications for Wyatt to get home too: eating a full bottle or "feed" without problems, be able to regulate his body temperature in a crib (he is still in an islet), be on room air, no cords and pass the carseat test.
Carseat Test: must sit in thd carseat for 90 to 120 minutes or the length of the car ride home (45 min), whichever is longer. During the test, the nurse will monitor your baby’s heart rate, breathing and oxygen level. As long as there is no change and he can hold his head up okay, without problem than he passes!
I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.
😇🙏🏻 Thank you so much Wyatt's Warriors, please keep the prayers coming! 🙏🏻😇
