Update #39 for Wyatt Paul Sherwood

9.17.21

Wyatt had yet another big day!  They moved him to a crib.  Every feed they try him on a bottle first and then feed through the tube the remainder of the food if he "gets to tired" or he hits the 30 min mark.  He took 10% of his feeds by bottle from 7:30p to 7:30a.  Than today he got 2ml from me when we tried breastfeeding at 10:30a and then at his 1:30p feeding he took 19ml of his 36ml from a bottle that I fed him!

These are the qualifications for Wyatt to get home too: eating a full bottle or "feed" without problems, be able to regulate his body temperature in a crib (he is still in an islet), be on room air, no cords and pass the carseat test.

Carseat Test: must sit in thd carseat for 90 to 120 minutes or the length of the car ride home (45 min), whichever is longer.  During the test, the nurse will monitor your baby’s heart rate, breathing and oxygen level.  As long as there is no change and he can hold his head up okay, without problem than he passes!

I can't thank the doctors, nurses and everyone that has been caring for us all during this time.

πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ» Thank you so much Wyatt's Warriors, please keep the prayers coming! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜‡
